Balloon Spectacular

It’s just a month until the Canberra Balloon Spectacular so now is the time to get your tickets.

This year’s Balloon Spectacular starts on Saturday 11 March and runs for 9 days until Sunday 19 March.

The Balloon Spectacular is free for spectators but this year numbers are limited and you need to book via the Enlighten website.

You can be part of the action by booking a balloon flight.  Bookings can only be made directly with our office by phoning 02 6249 8660 or you can send us an email.

Weekends sell out first so book soon if you want to fly on a weekend.  Our suggestion is to book for the first weekend, Saturday 6, Sunday 7 and Canberra Day, Monday 8 March, that way if your flight is cancelled* due to unsafe weather conditions you have a chance to rebook during the Spectacular.

Balloon Spectacular flight prices are :

Weekend flights           $395 per person or $290 per child aged 6-12.
(including Canberra Day)
Weekday flights           $345 per person or $250 per child aged 6-12.

Passenger flights last approximately 45-60 minutes and include Australian sparkling wine and fruit juice after landing.  Your flight check in time is 05:45 am and the total experience time is approximately 3-4 hours.

*Payment is required at the time of booking.  Should your flight be cancelled by Balloon Aloft due to unsuitable conditions you can either rebook or get a full refund.  You may rebook during the event or we do offer flights throughout the year.
